We've added a definite twist to this week's challenge at Pals Paper Arts by challenging you to create a Masculine KISS card (PPA54)! KISS stands for "Keep It Simple, Sweetie!" and challenges you to use less not more when making your card! The following are suggested guidelines for creating a KISS card:
- Clean with lots of white space
- Simple designs
- Minimum time to create
- Limited layers and embellishments
This masculine birthday card was not only simple to make, but quick and easy! I started with my own sketch and added a great striped pattern from Stampin' Up! and added a strip of Chocolate Chip card stock to create a clean, horizontal border. Circle and star embellishments were made using a 1" Circle punch and Star punch and enhanced with bronze Vintage Brads. A simple birthday sentiment from All Holidays was stamped in Chocolate Chip to finish the card off! Fast, clean, and simple!
Need more inspiration? Visit Pals Paper Arts and check out the more great masculine KISS cards created by the rest of the PPA Design Team and this week's Featured Artist, Martha Stewart! Make your own KISS card and submit it a PPA via Inlinkz before 12:00 Noon CST on Tuesday, August 10th! I can't wait to see what you make!
