PPA Color Challenge (PPA162)

Happy 4th of July to you and yours!  Our challenge at Pals Paper Arts this week is for you to use Pacific Point, Real Red and Crumb Cake (or similar colors) to create a card.  I hope you'll get out your supplies and join us!

Nautical is so on trend right now!  You'll see it everywhere; in clothing, home decor, party themes and even paper crafting.  Bold stripes are the perfect backdrop for showcasing the red and white life preserver embellishment.  An added banner allows you to customize this card for any occasion.  I think it would really make a great summer party invitation!  What do you think?

PPA136 Color Challenge

It's Thursday and time for another Color Challenge (PPA136) at Pals Paper Arts!  This week we're challenging you to use the versatile color combo of Real Red, Night of Navy and Whisper White!  This trio would work for so many different types of cards, especially Father's Day or Fourth of July.

My patriotic card was made with no particular event in mind, but it would easily make a fun invitation for a Fourth of July party or also work as a birthday card for any age or gender!

PPA49 - Inspiration Challenge

It's time for another challenge at Pals Paper Arts and this week, we're hosting a Fourth of July Inspiration Challenge (PPA49)!  What comes to mind when you think about the Fourth of July?  Patriotic parades, fireworks, picnics, our nation's birthday, freedom, a barbecue with family and friends?  I was inspired to create a party invitation in honor of the 4th using traditional patriotic colors of red, white, and blue, and some of my favorite stamp sets, punches, and other fun details (a little bling and paper piercing)!
