As the saying goes, "Better late than never!" I'm behind in posting this week's Merry Monday challenge and I apologize for the delay! I've been under the weather with an upper respiratory infection for several days and just now getting back into my daily routine of work and life in general. I hope you understand!
Here's our inspiration photo and the details for this week's challenge:
I think snowmen are always fun to use on a Christmas card and I hope you do too! My snowman was snipped from a piece of designer paper I had in my stash and popped up on dimensionals. A twig punch was used to make his arms and I snipped his scarf from pink card stock and added stripes with a marker. The whimsical evergreen trees were cut from the same designer paper and added to the handcut drifts of snow to create the winter scene. Falling snowflakes were punched from patterned paper as well and embellished with rhinestones for a touch of sparkle. To finish things off, I enhanced the snow with Dazzling Details and stamped the sentiment in red, which contrasts so well against the bright white snow!
Please let me know what you think about my snowman card! I love sharing my work with you and always love hearing from you! Be sure to check out the inspiring work of my fellow Merry Monday design team members by visiting the new Merry Monday blog! You're going to love what they've done for this week's challenge!
