It's time for a new Color Challenge (PPA170) at Pals Paper Arts! I hope you'll join me and my fellow Resident Artists at PPA and create a card for this challenge! Here's the color trio we're using this week:
Masculine cards always seem to be a challenge for most, so I set out to create a masculine card that could be easily re-created. I used the Pennant Punch to create a triangle pieced border, popping it up with dimensionals onto a woodgrain embossed card base. A birthday sentiment was stamped on a punched circle, then matted on another punched circle. A bit of paper piercing and a few Candy Dots were added to highlight the sentiment. This card could be adapted for any occasion by simply changing out the sentiment. Quick, easy and fun!
Please let me know what you think about this masculine card by leaving a comment below! I love sharing my work with you and appreciate your feedback!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Four YouPaper: Midnight Muse, Crused Curry, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake card stock
Ink: Midnight Muse Stampin' Write Marker
Tools: Big Shot, Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, 3/16" Corner Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, piercing mat
Extras: Regals Candy Dots (Crushed Curry), Stampin' Dimensionals
I love the card, just not crazy about the color challenge colors.
