Christmas is less than 3 months away! Have you started making your holiday cards yet? If not, it's a great time to get started by joining us at the Merry Monday Christmas Card Club challenge, hosted by Lesley Croghan at Always Playing With Paper! Here's our inspiration photo and the det:ails for this week's challenge:
I created a background for my card using the challenge colors of red, pink, light green, dark green and white by punching squares and gluing them to my card base. Super easy and quick! For white, I added punched snowflakes embellished with pink rhinestone centers and a strip of white for the stamped seasonal sentiment. I love the graphic, contemporary look and hope you do too!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: More Merry MessagesPaper: Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, Garden Green, Whisper White card stock
Ink: Poppy Parade Stampin' Write Marker
Tools: 1-1/4" Square Punch (retired), 3/16" Corner Punch, Large Himalayan Snowflake Punch (Martha Stewart), Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras: Hot Pink adhesive rhinestones (my embellishment stash), Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive
Love how you put all the required colors into a quilt block and then added the snowflakes. Great idea!
