Join us at the Merry Monday Challenge and get a head start on making your Christmas cards! The very talented Lesley Croghan at Always Playing with Paper is our host for this weekly challenge that gives you the opportunity to start or add to your stash of holiday cards. Here's Lesley's wonderful sketch for this week:
I love this sketch because it gives you a great space for featuring a wonderful image or some beautiful patterned paper! I chose to feature one of my favorite Santa images, keeping things clean and simple and traditional in color scheme. I changed things up a bit and used one banner instead of three because that worked better for my chosen sentiment. This quick card requires minimal supplies and would be great for mass producing. I hope you like the end results and will let me know by leaving a comment below!
Visit the blogs of my fellow Merry Makers listed below and see how they worked this sketch! I know you'll love their gorgeous work!
All supplies are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Jolly Santa (Stampendous)Paper: Real Red, Whisper White card stock; In Colors 2012-2014 Patterns Stack DSP
Ink: Real Red
Extras: Red and white Baker's Twine (my ribbon/twine collection), Stampin' Dimensionals
Yes! I love it!!! The balance is perfect. Love the larger white border, and you're right about it being good for mass production!!! Thank you Margaret!

This is really pretty. I see stamps like that and think how I wouldn't want to try coloring it but this one is perfect uncolored!
