When I sit down to create a card, I always try to make two of the same card. I have all my supplies out and at hand, so it's just as easy to put together two as it is to make only one. When I made this card, I actually ended up making three of the same design and changed out the sentiments to fit different occasions. This birthday card was made for a fellow colleague who recently celebrated a birthday. It features a single flower from the Mixed Bunch set and a smart button-tied center. I like the results and I hope you do too!
All supplies are Stampin' Up!, unless otherwise noted:
Stamps: Mixed Bunch, Funky Four, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limemade, Very Vanilla card stock; First Edition DSP, DSP Patterns Stack Brights Collection
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black
Tools: Blossom Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Blossom Petals XL Punch, 3/16" Corner Punch, Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras: Black button (my button jar), Linen Thread, Mini Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals

And that is very wise advice to make two! I always mean to do that and never seem to get around to it! I love the bold flower on your design!
