Believe it or not, it's time for another Color Challenge (PPA50) at Pals Paper Arts! We're inspired by this fresh and contemporary color trio of Basic Gray, So Saffron, and Chocolate Chip and hope you will be, too! My card features a handmade floral cutting in So Saffron with Chocolate Chip details on a base of Basic Gray! A border of Chocolate Chip stripes was created from narrow strips of scored Chocolate Chip card stock. Hand-cut leaves and a twisted paper stem in Pear Pizzazz were added to complete the flower. I love the way the textures and details of the flower really "pop" against the clean and simple card base! The final touch...a sweet sentiment from Occasional Quotes, a Level 3 Hostess set in the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog!
Need more creative ideas using this fun color combo? Visit PPA to see more inspiring cards from the Pals Paper Arts Design Team and this week's Featured Artist, Linda Callahan! Need an extra nudge to "play along"? Submit your creation using this color trio before 12:00 Noon CST on Tuesday, July 13th and you might just win the great blog candy package we're giving away! Maybe you'll be a Pals Paper Arts Artist Pick, too! What are you waiting for? Get out those supplies and get busy! I can't wait to see what you make!
