Happy Monday to you! I hope you'll join me and the rest of the design team at Merry Monday this week and get started working now on your Christmas cards! If you participate each week, you'll have a nice stack of handmade cards by December, ready to send out to family and friends! Here's our inspiration photo and the details for this week's challenge:
I started with a card base of Crumb Cake and layered a piece of Real Red DSP at an angle on my card to create some visual interest. I snipped a thin frame from Chocolate Chip card stock and scored it on the reverse side to add texture and definition. Punches, a die and a stamp were used to create the tag. The tag was tied with a bit of grosgrain ribbon and linen thread to add some color and balance to the overall design. As a finishing touch, I added a glimmery punched circle embellished with a theaded wooden button. Easy, fast and fun!
Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think about today's card! I always love hearing from you and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with me! Thank you for the kind words many of you left me last week! I'm feeling much better!
