It's Monday and that means it's time for a new sketch at Merry Monday, hosted by Lesley Croghan at Always Playing with Paper! Lesley has a really great sketch for you this week, so I hope you'll get out your card making supplies and join in the fun! Here's the sketch:
When I saw this sketch for the first time, I immediately thought of winter and a snow-covered hill. Of course, a snow-covered hill needs a cozy house and I had the perfect one in my stash of Christmas-themed embellishments! I used colors in the house to create a non-traditional holiday color palette that gives the card a fun, modern feel. A few rhinestone studded snowflakes, a punched border for a pop of color, and an embossed sentiment pulls everything together! I like the end result and I hope you do too!
Please join us and get a head start on making your Christmas cards this year! Be sure to visit the blogs of my fellow Merry Makers listed below and see how they used this great sketch to create their cards! I know you'll be inspired!
