My post today features a card I made for this week's challenge sponsored by Pals Paper Arts. This week's challenge is a Sketch Challenge (PPA22) and I hope you'll be inspired by the sketch I designed to "play along" and create your own card!
Given the fact that 2009 is coming to a close, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to make a New Year's' card! This particular sketch was designed with the idea of mixing and matching different papers for the background. I wanted my background papers to evoke a fun and celebratory mood, so I made my own using brightly colored card stock and stamps from Sparkly & Bright, Enjoy Every Moment, and Patterned Pines. Sparkly stars add to the New Year's theme and little touches of added "bling" make them shine even more!
This versatile sketch would work for any occasion and it's a great sketch to use for coordinating papers! Get out your supplies and submit your creation at Pals Paper Arts! I can't wait to see what you make!
